Washington Monument
The Washington Monument was built in 1884 as a tribute to George Washington, the first President of the United States of America. It is made completely of stone and is over 550 feet high, which makes it the tallest building in Washington. The monument is visited by millions of patriotic Americans and international tourists every year.
